Yaroslav V. Marchenkov

I was born on May 1, 1975 in Moscow.

In 1992 was graduated from intensive English language school № 55 (1209).

In 1992 was educated in US (English Language Fellow Program). Program included education in 5 centers: Harrisburg (Pennsylvania), Philadelphia (Pennsylvania),  Baltimore (Maryland),  Washington D.C., New York (New York).

In 1992-1998 was educated in Russian State Medical University, general treatment department.

In 1996 prepared literature review «Precancer stomach conditions», one of the best in University.

In 1997 prepared literature review «Tocsic lung edema», one of the best in University.

In 1997 was awarded by special  NYCOMED Company Grant, which was established for 20 best students in University.

In 1998-2000 was educated in Clinical Residency in Pulmonology Research Institute, Moscow.

In 2000-2003 was educated in Post-graduate Course (Fellowship) in Pulmonology Research Institute, Moscow.

In 2002 was awarded by special Russian Respiratory Society Grant for investigation «Diagnostic evaluation of tracheal functional conditions in COPD».

In 2003 was educated in certificate course of MERCURY Training Company  «Effective Presentation Skills».

In 2003 was educated in certificate course "Evidence-based medicine". Russian State Medical University.

In 2004 received Postgraduate Scientific Degree for investigation «Diagnostic evaluation of tracheal functional conditions in COPD».

In 2004 postgraduate Scientific Degree investigation «Diagnostic evaluation of tracheal functional conditions in COPD» was awarded by special Grant in European Respiratory Society.

In 2005 was educated in professional update course «Imaging», Russian Medical Postgraduate Academy, Moscow.

In 2005-2009 chief of Imaging Department in Pulmonology Research Institute, Moscow.

In 2006 was educated in professional update course «International Hospitals’ Experience»  in Shanghai №1 hospital and Ruijin hospital (Shanghai Jiao Tong University) (Shanghai, China).

In 2007 was educated in The Royal Brompton Hospital (London, Great Britain). Speciality: imaging, pulmonology . Scientific chief: professor David Hansell.

In 2008 was educated in Grosshadern Clinic (Klinikum Groβhadern), Ludwig Maximilians University  (Munich, Germany). Speciality: pulmonology, imaging. Scientific chief: professor Jürgen Behr.

In 2011 was awarded  by  medal «90 years of medical service of the Russian Internal Affairs Ministry» in Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

In 2013 active participation in distant GP consultations, "Teledoctor" Project.

In 2013 active participation in International MEDICA Exhibition (Dusseldorf, Germany).

In 2013 active participation in International conference "Global Healthcare Problems" which was hosted in World Health Organisation headquarters (Geneva, Switzerland).

In 2021 my book "Standart doctor" has been written. It describes my route in profession.
